Real Growth, Not a Ladder

We're scaling operations across North America, which means new roles, new responsibilities, and real advancement opportunities. We promote from within and invest in developing the people who are already here. What you bring matters more than how long you've been here.

Safety Without Compromise

Our people go home safe. Every day. We've built that commitment into our equipment, our training, and our decision-making. Remote-controlled machines keep operators out of the trench zone. Every crew member has the authority to stop work if something doesn't look right. We maintain a 0.00% TRIR because we earn it.

Work That Matters

CPNA is helping utilities put power lines underground to prevent wildfires, harden grid infrastructure, and build the backbone of renewable energy. You'll go home knowing your work is protecting communities. The impact is measurable, visible, and immediate.

What it's like here

Every person at CPNA wears more than one hat. When smart, capable people work inside a fast-growing company, they get trusted with real responsibility, and they rise to it. You'll learn parts of the business that would take a decade to see at a larger company.

Our founders are embedded in daily operations. You'll have conversations with leadership regularly, not once a year at a town hall. Whether you're in the field running equipment or in the back office coordinating logistics, you're connected to what's happening and your perspective is part of how we make decisions.

How we work

We believe structure and autonomy aren't opposites. CPNA sets clear expectations up front, gives you what you need, and then trusts you to deliver. When challenges come up, we call them learning moments. We ask for input before making decisions. We share feedback because we respect each other enough to be real. And when something unexpected halts an operation, the response is measured: secure the site, check on the crew, work the problem together. That's how we respond when it counts.

Values

Competitive Compensation

We offer competitive wages based on experience and position. Compensation is discussed during the interview process, where we take the time to understand your background and make sure the offer reflects it.

Hands-On Growth

Expect broad exposure across the business and skills that compound quickly in a growing company. We invest in training and support real career development, not just performance reviews.

Proven Safety Systems

ISNetworld verified (ID #400-421376). Common Ground Alliance member (CGA #52643). IBEW 1245 signatory. Our equipment is purpose-built with remote operation to eliminate trench-zone exposure, and our crews are trained on strict protocols before they ever step on site. Every one of these is active and current.

Who We're Looking For

The people who thrive here are the ones who take ownership of their work, step up when something needs doing, and don't wait to be told. We value hard work over credentials, initiative over experience, and attitude over pedigree.

If you want structure without micromanagement, a team that respects your judgment, and work that demands your best every day, you'll fit right in. If you want to clock in, do the minimum, and go home, this probably isn't the right place.

The people who last here are the ones who ask what's next before anyone has to ask them.

Field Operations

Our field crews are the backbone of CPNA. Operators, groundsmen, superintendents, and field engineers work together on challenging terrain across North America. You'll run specialized equipment, solve real-time problems, and execute work that most contractors can't. Travel is part of the job. So is the satisfaction of watching 3,000 feet of conduit go into the ground in a single shift.

Office & Remote

As CPNA grows, so does the team behind the team. We're building out project coordination, engineering support, business development, safety compliance, and operations management. Many of these roles are remote-friendly. You'll work closely with leadership and field teams, making sure every project runs smoothly from bid to backfill.
